Transportation
By train
Marseille is well connected to the French and European high-speed rail network. The main railway station, Marseille Saint-Charles, is served by direct TGV lines from Paris (around 3 hours), Lyon, Lille and several other major cities, as well as international connections.
By air
Marseille Provence Airport (MRS) is located about 25 km northwest of the city centre and offers regular domestic and international flights. From the airport, shuttle buses and public transport connect directly to Marseille Saint-Charles station and the city centre.
Getting to the venue
The colloquium venue, on the Saint-Charles campus, is located within walking distance of Marseille Saint-Charles train station. The simplest way to get there by public transport is to take metro line M1, operated by the RTM (Régie des Transports Métropolitains), Marseille's public transport authority.
